Music: The Holidays

Coming into summer, The Holidays new album 'Post Paradise' is perfect for the season. If there was ever an album to soundtrack a warm, exotic holiday, basking in the sun and swimming in clear blue sea, this would be it!!
And let me tell you, these guys put on a very entertaining show (happily accepting the chairs that make their way up onto stage via the drunk crowd... we are fun down here in Adelaide!) all the while guitarist, Will, sported some sexy ankles which had the girls (well me at least) swooning over him.
I truly love The Holidays and find myself having a hard time fighting the constant impulse to play their music all the time and pretend I am on an exotic, summer holiday.

Cardigan of the Week: Jim Sturgess

Boy has he stolen my heart! Sturgess not only knows how to play the adorable, super-intelligent MIT geek (see '21') but he also know how to dress!!

Just putting it out there, Sturgess also has a voice to drool over. Watch him singing these Beatles tunes (could you ask for anything more?!):

Gentlemen: Jack London

Stumbled across this menswear brand that just makes me melt. Jack London may just be the best thing that ever happened to guys.
This is definitely up there with Quang's Glitter suit!

Cardigan of the Week: Michael Jackson

Being Halloween this weekend, I have been pleasantly swamped with Michael Jackson's Thriller being played everywhere I go. Does everyone remember his short film 'Ghosts'? If you dont, get onto it!!!
Just look at him in that cardi, he sure had some serious style!

Music: Little Red

Oh my, how I just LOVE Little Red! They just seem to keep coming out with amazingly addictive songs. And their Fashion sense... WOW!

I'll admit that I was quite taken by bass player/vocalist Quang's attire during their Adelaide visit. Quang rocked a glittering black suit with a white spotted shirt and bow tie. What more can I say except that it had me using the pick up line of "I. umm, love your suit!" which led to a very fun shimmy to Tame Impala.

Anyway, I feel that although this is a song off their first album 'Listen to Little Red', it is still fantastic and deserves another watch.

Prada: Fall/Winter 2010/11

Not only does the song make me want to pull out some sexy burlesque moves, but the ad is oh so cool! With it's vintage appeal, Prada has me nearly wishing for the winter season again. I must stress that 'nearly'.
